In a new interview, Kiwi qween Lorde has opened up about the most random quality that people picked on when she first rose to fame in 2013.
"I remember all these kids online, I think I beat their favourite people to number one [on the charts], and they were like, 'She’s got really far-apart eyes,'" the "Green Light" singer recalled.
"I remember being like, 'Whoa! How did I get all this way without knowing I had far-apart eyes?' Just weird stuff like that."
What a STUPID thing to tease someone about!
"When it was happening, I was quite overwhelmed by it. But that was a long time ago," she added.
"If anything, I’ve slowly been getting less famous since "Royals" was really big. Which is totally cool for me…I suck at being famous. And that’s fine."
Let us stop you right there, Lorde.
To use your celebrity for evil purposes (such as tearing down other artists or being rude AF to fans) would mean that you're sucking at being famous.
Being a humble ~goddess~ and releasing tunes that make people happy mean that you're *winning* at being famous.
Slay, girl. Slay!
