Our strong-minded Betty Cooper took to her Twitter over the weekend to share a struggle she went through last year, and it's really inspiring.
A year ago on that day, she was told about her part in Riverdale, which she admits ended up saving during such a difficult time in her life.
"Exactly one year ago today, we found out that Riverdale was getting picked up for an entire season. I remember how I felt when I found out...
"I cried tears of joy. In that moment I became a working actress with a steady job. Something I had been working towards for 7 years..." she began.
"Riverdale came into my life when I was going through the worst depression I had ever experienced. And in the end it completely saved me.
"And when I'm feeling depressed or sad, I remind myself how far I've come. And how I didn't let my depression consume me..."
She literally goes on to post a lot more tweets, encouraging her fans to never give up on themselves, and reminding them how strong they are.
All we have to say, is Y-A-S Q-U-E-E-N!
Lili is a huge role model, and to be openly speaking up about such an important issue is absolutely incredible. All the love and support to you Lili <3.
