If this new report by Page Six is anything to go by, we might soon see everyone's fave former teen actress back on the network that started it all: Nickelodeon!!!
Apparently, producers have been brainstorming ideas for a new show based around Amanda and they've been "trying to reach" her. They hope to "work with her again in a positive and healthy way" and say she "has a tremendous amount of talent."
Amanda became famous overnight after she was cast in All That when she was just 10 and later starred in her very own series, the iconic The Amanda Show, from 1999 to 2002. Ah the memories. But it was her transition into more adult roles, like the ~hilarious~ 2006 movie She's the Man, that catapulted her to A-List status.
Her last film role was actually SEVEN years ago with Emma Stone in Easy A and sadly she went on a major downward spiral after getting a DUI in 2012.
You might remember, Amanda's behaviour became pretty erratic, including a bunch of NSFW Twitter rants, and after a number of arrests and legal troubles, she was eventually placed under psychiatric hold in 2014.
Luckily though, things have been looking up for the former Nick star in recent years. A healthier Amanda returned to the public eye in 2015 and she recently finished up her second year at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Orange County.
"She is doing great," her family's attorney, Tamar Arminak, dished to E! News. "She is happy and healthy, and excited about the future."
So who's keen for Amanda's Nickelodeon comeback?? If we get more TV gold like this, we're 3000% in!
