After a mixture of cryptic IG posts and tweets, the “thank u, next” pop-star has dropped the release date to her new album, and it’s titled Positions, with a single of the same name.
Over the weekend, Grande tweeted a link to her website. And, instead of any touring or merch info, the Ariana Grande official website just has a countdown with the words “Positions.”
There are two countdowns on the site, one for a single, releasing in *checks notes* four days at 3pm AEST, and another for her album, dropping in eleven days on the 31st of October at 3pm AEST. Man, when she said she would drop her album this month, she really meant ~this month~
Then, over on her Instagram just yesterday, the 27-year-old singer shared a slowed down cryptic video of her, acrylic nails et al, slowly typing out the word: P-O-S-I-T-I-O-N-S. Interesting, hmm…. Naturally that leaves us to believe that the new single plays a pretty big part on the album, and may very well be the same song she previously teased on Instagram.
