Taking to the stage in her pastel pink get up, Ari gave a really beautiful and real speech to the crowd that touched on her extremely difficult year.
"This is really special," she said. "I want to say that I find it interesting that this has been one of the best years in my career, and like, the worst in my life."
Dealing with the Manchester attack last year, the death of ex Mac Miller, and her failed engagement to Pete Davidson, Ariana really has experienced pain.
"I'm not saying that for sympathy, I'm just saying that because I feel like a lot of people would look at someone in my position right now, I guess, like Woman of the Year, an artist that could be at her peak...and think, 'She's really got her sh*t together, you know, like, she's really on it, she's got it all.' I do, but as far as my personal life goes, I really have no idea what the f*ck I am doing. So yeah, it's been a very conflicting one. And I just want to say that if you're someone out there who has no idea what this next chapter is going to bring, you're not alone in that."
While us, and most likely the entire crowd was crying from her words, Ariana stopped herself from letting any tears show.
"Ew, I'm not going to start to cry that's really stupid," she said. "Sorry, I have to pull back, I have to stop that immediately."
She later thanked two very important members of her clique on Instagram: her dogs Toulouse and Myron. "forgot to thank myron and toulouse for being the realest bitches i've ever known. thanks for holdin shit DOWN in the emotional support and unconditional love departments."
Congraulations Ari.
