The movie sees two best friends, played by JoJo and Emma Roberts, who discover a mermaid in their beach club's swimming pool.
The mermaid, played by Sarah Paxton, is on a mission to prove to her father that real love exists, and asks the girls to help her win the heart of the bach club's lifeguard.
