Apollo is a magician by trade, so we expected to see something pretty neat come from him.
But dis we expect him to light himself on fire while hanging upside down in the air, falling into a pit of spikes? Not entirely.
“I’m going to be suspended from the ceiling, the pulley system is set to drop me face first towards a bed of razor sharp flaming spikes,” Apollo revealed in the promo.
“The only way to stop the drop system is a switch located in a locked and gained box out of reach. And to take this escape to the next level, I’m going to be doused in gasoline.”
OK.
“I’m really nervous about this, there is a chance that things could go seriously wrong,” he admits. “I’m willing to risk my life on stage for this.”
Thankfully, Apollo frees himself from the straitjacket, however, his arm is still on fire as he tries to unlock the box.
“His arm’s on fire! Oh my god,” the judges scream.
When Apollo finally stands up straight to talk to the judges, they're still freaking the HELL out. "Your hands are bleeding!" They yell out to him.
“That is by far the most dangerous thing I have ever seen,” Nicole tells Apollo, still recovering from her hyperventilating.
As expected, it was a massive 'YES' from all judges, which means more Apollo on our television screens!
That's a win for everyone.
