Andrew dated Westworld actress Shannon Woodward for three years before calling it quits in 2011 after he “got deeper into filming” for Spider-Man, according to US Weekly.
These two walked so Tom Holland and Zendaya could run.
Emma and Andrew went from on-screen lovers in the Amazing Spider-Man, portraying Gwen Stacey and Peter Parker, to dating IRL.
To the heartbreak of many fans, the couple broke up in 2015, but very amicably... with Andrew telling Vanity Fair that he’s remained the La La Land star’s “biggest fan”.
“We care about each other so much, and that’s a given, that’s kind of this unconditional thing,” Andrew told the publication’s Little Gold Men podcast in 2017.
“There’s so much love between us and so much respect… for me, it’s been bliss to be able to watch her success and watch her bloom into the actress that she is. And it’s been wonderful to have that kind of support for each other.”
Andrew and the Jessica Jones actress were spotted kissing on a beach in Malibu in 2018. But nothing much is known about what really went down with the pair.
The actor was first linked with the Black Widow singer in November 2018, before apparently calling time four months later.
In early 2019, Rita dodged a question about the Spider-Man actor while on SiriusXM’s The Morning Mash Up.
"Did you prefer Tobey Maguire or Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man?” the host asked.
"You're making me wake up this morning,” Rita laughed. “I don't watch Spider-Man. That's my answer."
Around March 2019, rumours were rife that Andrew was dating Aisling Bea when the 38-year-old was spotted with his arm around the Irish comedian during a West End production of Hamilton. But nothing was ever confirmed.
Andrew apparently began dating medical student and model Christine Gabel in 2019 in what was a very private relationship. And how it ended? We don't know.
Last month, Andrew was spotted with model Alyssa Miller strolling in NYC before the pair dazzled at the premiere of Tick, Tick… Boom!
Andrew has recently spoken to Bustle about his decision to keep his relationships private.
“I’m not in the public eye to a great degree because I’ve designed it that way for myself," the actor said.
"For my work, I’m fine with it, but otherwise I fight for my right for a private, personal life. My right to be ordinary. My right to be a mess. My right to be sorrowful. My right to lose, to get it wrong, to be stupid, to be a person.”
