Is it just us, or does our country have a knack for producing super-successful influencers?
We don't know if it's all the fresh air, sunshine or just our easygoing personalities, but there's some seriously bright talent coming out of Aus right now.
It seems the rest of the world has noticed too — because E! has added an Australian Social Star category to their 2019 People's Choice Awards!

Yep, that's THE People's Choice Awards — the same ones that Hollywood heavyweights like Taylor Swift, Zac Efron, Chris Hemsworth and Queer Eye's Jonathan Van Ness are in the running for.
For the first time, fans will also be able to vote for our very first Australian Social Star of 2019, making our mark on the history of pop culture and entertainment globally.
Even the US doesn't have their own social star category, which is how you know we're a pretty special bunch.
The six nominees are an eclectic group of Aussie social stars across fashion, travel and fitness who have inspired the nation with their clout, individuality and creativity.
The amazing nominees include:
Melbourne-based makeup artist and beauty YouTuber, Nikkia Joy
Bondi babe, fashion influencer, model and entrepreneur, Elle Ferguson
Byron Bay-based lifestyle blogger, Lisa Danielle Smith
Rozalia Russian, a fashion influencer, entrepreneur, model and mum from Melbourne
Fashion and travel influencer and all-round hilarious chick, Jade Tuncdoruk from Sydney
Perth-based body image activist, model and influencer, Kate Wasley
"From the heart of Sydney to the coast of Byron Bay, Australia’s Social Star of the Year nominees bring together a culmination of individuals feeding our feeds with unrivalled street style, our daily dose of laughter and the power to unlock the curiosity in us all to explore new destinations, cuisines and experiences," NBC said in a statement.
"As social platforms continue to evolve, these are the influencers who Australia will celebrate for embracing digital innovation and stretching the limits to connect with their audiences in new and meaningful ways."
Spotted your fave on there? Here's your chance to get them up on that big stage to collect their trophy!
Voting is currently open, and closes on Saturday 19th October at 6pm AEDT (that's Sunday for us here in Australia)
You can vote up to 25 times per day, per category, via their voting website.
The actual ceremony airs on Monday 11th November at 3pm with E! Live AEDT, so be sure to tune to see if your pick made it (and to see Zac Efron in a suit, obvs)
