13 Reasons Whyis potentially the most controversial TV show onNetflix, with its graphic subject matter that touches on themes likemental health, teen suicide and rape, it's somehow now managed to draw criticism for a whole different reason - the new narrator.
Who is she and why is she new the voice of13 Reasons Why?

The new narrator, Ani, is a confusing mess and doesn't add any more depth to the story, nor does she give viewers greater insight into what's going down.
Netflix
Aniacts asBryce's 'redeemer' throughout the series, even though after the horror of season one and season two, it would be hard to seeBryce with any humanity.
WhileAniclaims to "know things about people", she immediately cements herself as team 'Bryce', which is an interesting decision, considering we have not metAniprior to this season and feel like we've missed out on a lot of backstory.

Her motives - befriending Clay only to accuse him of murder as well as her treatment of Jessica - are as odd as they are conflicting and just leave us with an odd taste in our mouths.
Frankly, it was weird.
Twitter had a lot of reactions, with some people even calling for the show to be made sansAni.
