Zara Larsson unfortunately found herself in a Twitter war with fans after openly admitting that she wasn't a fan of the show.
"13 reasons why is mehh don't @ me," she initially tweeted. Oh boy, if only she saw what was coming.
A fan then retweeted her, saying, "literally doesn't matter if it's meh.. the reason behind it is why it's being talked about so much," to which she replied, "in my opinion it romanticizes a revenge suicide and it doesn't bring up mental illness or depression AT ALL."
Another fan than jumped in, saying, "First of all, respect your opinion, but I think you did not understand what the series really wanted to pass on to people."
Zara then responded, "i do understand the message, the show is just not my cup of tea. Too unrealistic for me. But that's just me."
Fair enough gurlll, your opinion is your opinion.
But it didn't sit well with fans, and somehow, it turned into 'Zara Larsson hates Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift.'
Wot?
Zara proceeded to clear the air before deleting all her tweets, claiming, "I LOVE SELENA AND TAYLOR WTF I DONT KNOW WHERE YALL GETTING EVERYTHING FROM ITS STUPID."
After all the drama, she posted a simple, "hi its the new and fresh me."
It's kind of sad that she got so much crap online for not sharing the same opinion as the majority of people, which ya know, is basically what the show is trying to get across in the first place...
Irony y'all.
