Miller claimed in her Twitter thread that she met 38-year-old Brandon on the dating app Bumble. They agreed to meet up for a drink and some dinner but upon meeting him, the date quickly unravelled.
She explained, "He was completely rude to our waitress because she didn’t walk over to our table fast enough when he finished his first beer. He threw his menu on the floor like a literal baby and then spoke to her in a disgustingly sarcastic and degrading tone."
When her date asked if he was being an "a**hole", she confirmed he was.
Miller enjoyed a single beer while her date enjoyed three beers and a steak dinner. After the meal, he excused himself to go to the restroom with Miller commenting on the experience saying, "Personally, he can't walk away from the table fast enough so I can use my phone for more than 5 seconds without feeling like a jerk."
Five minutes after Brandon went off to the bathroom, he sent Miller a text that read, "Thanks for the dinner! Hard no (sic) welcome to Cali fatty."
To which Ryann responded, "are you serious"
Miller recounted that sat at the table for a minute to "process what just happened," before she realised, "this bill still needs to be paid."
The bill for her date from hell came in at approximately $70 AUD. She paid the bill with the help of sister and her sister's best friend who transferred her money.
Miller tied up her story encouraging girls to research their dates first as, "We are all beautiful women who deserve to be loved, regardless of our size, race, ability, sexuality, WHATEVER. Don’t ever let anybody make you feel anything different."
She also noted that she reported Brandon to Bumble who swiftly disabled his account. She also clarified that the text message was real as "You can't photoshop texts on an iPhone."
