πŸ‘‹. πŸ‘?

Coz who even needs to talk with words these days, right?! πŸ˜•

Emojis are legit the way of the SMS/FB/Tweeting/Gramming-and everything else world for the future and there ain't no one complaining. Like at all. βœ‹ Actually, of the 9.9 MILLION peeps in Australia who use emojis, apparently 6 million of them reckon that, yep, emojis are better than words. Soz dictionary πŸ’‹.

Since the little pieces of digital awesomeness πŸ™Œ migrated from Japan in about 1999 with their first versions... Does anyone even remember THESE that started it all?! :D  :)  :'(  :/  :P ...Yeah we've come a long way... The way the 🌏 communicates with each other has changed πŸ’― .

The 🍫 guys at Cadbury who made friends πŸ‘― with Oreo to make a new range of flavours recently decided they wanted to know just how much it's taken control and it's kinda epic tbh.

They did a whooole lotta research into it and found that 65% of girls, yeah that's US agree that emojis are better than words at communicating how we feel πŸ’πŸ‘Œ AND that 58% of all emoji users have a set they use on the reg for their friends and baes πŸ’…, though we're all basically twice as likely to send emojis to friends than anyone we're crushing on or shipping πŸ˜› Meh... Not gonna deny it!

That's a whole lotta people who're feeling a tonne of emoji action!

Even the guy who founded the world's πŸ” emoji dictionary, Jeremy Burge at Emojipedia said, β€œEmojis are so good at expressing how we feel and have such a role in

communication that in 2015 the Oxford Dictionary named the Face With

Tears of Joy emoji as their β€œWord of the Year”, despite it not actually being a word!”

It's the best! πŸ’ž
