The actress turned up at the premiere of her new movie Smurfs: The Lost Village in L.A. rocking a ~killer~ strapless mini, which just so happened to have some small see-through panels on the front and sides. #scandalous
ON. FIRE.
Her fellow Smurfs co-stars, Demi Lovato and Meghan Trainor, were also there looking like goddesses, but apparently no one had any issues with their outfits because they're more covered up. *rolls eyes*
Once Ariel posted a pic from the event on Insta, the haters came rolling in, trashing her for wearing such a "skanky" dress to the premiere of a kids' film. Some even called her a hooker!
"Why omg why? Why r u dressed like that for a kids movie??"
"I swear I've seen hookers wearing those dresses .."
"Love the dress but not appropriate for the event. It's a kids movie."
"She's such a pretty girl. Why does she feel like she has to dress so skanky all the time?"
WOW. Really?! The dress is hardly revealing or inappropriate to wear in front of children!
Luckily, others came rushing to the Modern Family star's defence:
"The comments about her dress makes me wonder if y'all living in the middle east"
"You look gorgeous. Dress however you want and don't listen to mean comments from women who are jealous that they can't look that good and men who know that a woman like you is far beyond their reach."
"@arielwinter looked beautiful in that dress!! Haters gonna hate... just shake 'em off!!"
How about let the girl wear whatever she feels comfortable and stop being so judgemental, geez!
