If your eyes are glued to him whenever he appears on the screen, then you may have noticed that crown-hat he wears, well, everywhere!
So what's with it, exactly?
Turns out there is a seriously cool back-story to it, and Cole himself revealed during a Reddit AMA session that a video on the internet explains it really, really well.
"[I] did a lot of research on the cap when I first got the part," he said. "Here's a great little video that does a better job than I could explaining it."
The video, made by comic YouTube channel NerdSync delves into the history of his hat.
It's called a whoopee cap, and it was actually a really popular accessory with young people when Jughead made his comic book debut back in 1941.
Factory workers used to invert highly popular felt fedoras and jaggedly chop off the brim so their eye sight wouldn't be affected as they worked.
When they got new hats, they passed these whoopee caps onto their kids, who, like today... make everything a trend.
There are also some mind-blowing facts in there, like how people used to call those factory workers "Jaghead's" which is very similar to Jughead, and how it has remained the one constant thing in the Archie comics throughout time.
Watch the video below, because like Cole said, it explains it way better than anyone else, and prepare to have your mind blown:
